Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Grinding Operator on the second shift, working from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for precision grinding and finishing of metal components to meet strict quality standards. Your expertise will ensure that parts are machined accurately, inspected thoroughly, and prepared for assembly or shipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in advanced manufacturing processes while contributing to high-quality production. Min.
Qualifications:
Basic understanding of sheet metal processes desired. Familiarity with debur equipment and tools is preferred. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Adherence to safety procedures and guidelines.
Experience Req:
Previous On-the-Job- Department Experience, Will Train Primary Functions:
Perform deburring operations on sheet metal components using handheld or bench grinders Inspect workpieces for imperfections, such as burrs, sharp edges, or surface defects Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment Use measuring tools, such as calipers or gauges, to verify dimensions and specifications Maintain and clean grinding equipment and work area Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines Other duties as assigned
Pay:
$19.50 - $25.00 per hour
