Role:
Abrasive Water Jet of Indiana LLC is looking for a skilled Waterjet Operator to join our team in Noblesville, IN. This is a hands-on opportunity to work with cutting-edge waterjet cutting technology in a fast-paced, precision-focused manufacturing environment. Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor abrasive waterjet cutting machines to produce precision-cut parts Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to ensure accurate cuts Program CNC waterjet equipment and make adjustments to cutting parameters as needed Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to verify dimensional accuracy and quality standards Perform routine machine maintenance, including nozzle changes and abrasive media management Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with shop safety protocols Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and deadlines
Requirements:
Prior experience operating waterjet, CNC, or other precision cutting equipment preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications Familiarity with CNC programming and machine setup processes Proficiency with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and squares Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs in a manufacturing environment Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with good communication skills
