Waterjet Operator

DESCRIPTION

: Responsible for the cutting of sheet metal aluminum parts utilizing a Water Jet per Customer's engineering drawings and specifications.

EXPERIENCE

: Minimum two years' operating a Flow Water Jet in an aerospace setting Ability to read blueprints and decipher drawings

REQUIREMENTS

: Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. Familiar with safety standards and PPE utilized in a manufacturing setting Must have reliable transportation and be able to work overtime when needed Ability to read, write and understand English Proficient in blue print reading Knowledge of hand tools and precision measuring tools, such as calipers Ability to stay on task with minimal supervision Strong communication and problem-solving skills Detail oriented

RESPONSIBILITIES

: Verify specific material call outs on traveler Load machine with work pieces Confirm profile, pilot holes and cut outs are to Customer drawing Verify accuracy of job/workmanship when performing job Maintain specifications by observing operations and replacing worn tools as needed Perform waterjet material handling safety procedures Adhere to all quality assurance procedures and processes Maintain specifications by trouble shooting processes, detecting malfunctions and taking measurements Accomplish organizational goals by accepting ownership for all new and different requests Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments Meet production goals in terms of cycle time, quantity, and quality Miscellaneous tasks as assigned To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
