Entry-Level Deburrer Job Description This entry-level role focuses on deburring and finishing precision-machined medical components on 1st shift in a regulated manufacturing environment. You will remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections to ensure products meet strict quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Training is provided, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to start a career in medical device manufacturing and develop hands-on production skills.Pay:
$20/hr + overtime availableShift:
First (1st) shift: 6:30am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday Responsibilities Remove burrs, sharp edges, excess material, and surface imperfections from machined medical components using hand tools, files, abrasive pads, and deburring equipment. Inspect parts for defects and verify that finished components meet established quality specifications and tolerances. Follow detailed work instructions, engineering drawings, and manufacturing procedures to complete deburring tasks accurately and consistently. Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges when required to confirm dimensions and quality. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company policies and safety standards. Handle medical components carefully to prevent damage to critical surfaces and features. Complete required production and quality documentation accurately and on time. Work closely with production, quality, and manufacturing teams to meet daily output and quality goals. Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA regulations, and internal quality requirements throughout the production process. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, inspection, or deburring. Experience working in a regulated industry such as medical devices, aerospace, or electronics. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. Exposure to polishing, grinding, or other finishing operations. Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality system requirements. Why Work Here? Work Environment You will work on 1st shift in a medical manufacturing environment focused on precision fluidic components and assemblies. The facility produces a variety of products, including column hardware, degassers, fluidic connections, manifolds, pumps, pump components, sensors, and valves, with an emphasis on optimizing fluidic pathways and maximizing performance. The role involves hands-on work at production stations using hand tools, deburring equipment, and precision measuring instruments, while following structured procedures and quality standards in a regulated setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middleborough, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
