Company Overview TARUS is a machine manufacturer of innovative CNC machines for various industries globally. We are currently looking for a Precision Grinder to join our team. Employees will be responsible for holding tolerances as tight as .0002-.0005 Responsibilities Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment Set up and operate Surface Grinder (Mattison and Jakobson Grinder) to produce precision components. Part sizes range up to 4"x6" and setup is critical Setup and operate ID/OD Grinder (Kellenberger). Basic programming required Inspect finished product before it leaves the department Maintain equipment by performing regular maintenance and troubleshooting as needed. Requirements Experience in grinding operations Basic programming skills are preferred for use with the Kellenberger Grinder The ability to read mics and calipers The ability to operate forklifts and overhead cranes is a plus The ability to communicate and work with your peers
