This is a hands-on role where precision, attention to detail, and proven experience are critical. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of grinding experience and be able to work with manual machines to produce high-quality components.

Responsibilities:

• Operate manual grinding machines to finish metal and stainless steel parts to exact specifications.
• Set up and troubleshoot manual machines, including lathes and mills (some training available if grinding experience is strong).
• Perform precise measurements using indicators and tools, achieving tolerances as fine as .0005".
• Follow work instructions accurately and maintain strict quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure production deadlines are met.

Requirements :

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on grinding experience (mandatory).
• Ability to operate manual lathes and mills; grinding experience may substitute for minor lathe/mill training.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Experience with metalworking, coatings, or building up parts is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing environment.

Pay:

$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
