Overtime Opportunities:
Overnight projects are paid at time and a half, providing excellent earning potential.
Schedule Regular Shift:
6:00 AM - 2:30
PM Overnight Shift:
10:00 PM - 6:30 AM (Paid at Time and a Half) Overnight work is required on an as-needed basis. Longer stretches of overnight work may be necessary depending on project demands.
Essential Functions:
Perform all phases of surveying field work including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction layout, and as-built surveys. Operate Leica or Trimble robotic total stations and data collectors. Complete field calculations, sketches, and survey documentation. Download, compile, and organize field data. Maintain and care for all survey equipment. Ensure quality control standards are met on every project. Work overnight shifts when project requirements dictate. Obtain and maintain OSHA 10 or OSHA 40 certification, as well as TWIC and SWAC credentials required for the government agency project. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Minimum of 3 years of experience performing boundary, topographic, ALTA, and construction stakeout surveys. Experience using robotic total stations and Leica scanning equipment. Flexible availability to accommodate overnight projects. Strong math and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with computers and electronic data collection equipment. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Willingness to travel as needed for project assignments. Strong work ethic with a positive, team-oriented attitude. You Have:
Associate's Degree or higher. OSHA 10 or OSHA 40 Certification. TWIC or SWAC Certification. Familiarity with AutoCAD. Experience operating a Leica P40 Scan Station. ​​​​​​​
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for 8 or more hours per day. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, humidity, and other environmental factors. Ability to work safely in active construction zones, roadways, and other field environments where loud noise may be present. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range:
$20.00 - $28.00+ per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and certifications.
