Identify Defects in Work Piece using Visual & Touch Inspection Use Required Specifications & knowledge of Abrasives & Conditions of Metal to Select Grade of Abrasive Belt & Attach to Grinder Smooth Surface of Work Piece to Remove Scratches, Excess Weld Material, Burs & Laminated Metal using Grinder Use Finer Abrasive to Polish Ground Areas to Produce a Smooth Surface Replace Abrasive Disks, Wheels & Belts as Necessary Follow All PPE & Safety Guidelines Other Duties as Assigned by

Supervisor Production Grinder Technician Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required 2+ Years of Finishing, Grinding, or Deburring Experience Preferred Must be able to Read & Interpret documents such as Safety rules, Operating & Maintenance Instructions & Procedure Manuals Must have Good Verbal & Written Communication & the Ability to Produce Reports & Correspondence when Needed Basic Math Skills are Required, including Addition, Subtraction, Division & Measurements Must be able to Follow Instructions Provided in Written, Oral, or Diagram Form & Solve Problems Involving Several Concrete Variables in Standardized Situations Must be able to Stand, Walk, Sit, use Hands & Arms & Lift up to 50
