Contract-to-Hire | Long-Term Opportunity Champion Personnel is hiring an experienced Metal Finisher / Hand Grinder for a busy manufacturing company in Cleveland that builds packaging and shrink-wrapping equipment used in the food and retail industries. This is NOT an entry-level grinding position. Previous hand grinding and metal finishing experience is required. Pay Based on

Experience:

? $19/hour

Candidates with solid hand grinding and metal finishing experience ? $20/hour
Candidates with powder coating experience in addition to grinding/finishing experience

What You'll Be Doing:

Use hand grinders to smooth edges and surfaces on aluminum and other metal components Grind, deburr, smooth, and finish metal parts Polish finished metal pieces Prepare surfaces to achieve a clean, quality finish Inspect finished pieces for consistency and quality Perform repetitive finishing work while maintaining attention to detail Assist with additional metal finishing duties as needed Work with components used to manufacture industrial shrink-wrapping equipment

What We're Looking For:

Previous hand grinding experience

REQUIRED

Previous metal finishing experience

REQUIRED

Experience polishing, deburring, or smoothing aluminum/metal Powder coating experience is a HUGE PLUS and qualifies experienced candidates for $20/hour Manufacturing experience Comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on work Strong attention to detail and quality Able to lift up to approximately 20 lbs.
