In this role, you will perform precision grinding and finishing work on a variety of manufactured components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with multiple grinding processes and the ability to work to precise specifications. CNC grinding experience is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Operate manual grinding equipment to produce precision components Perform centerless, ID/OD, surface, and Blanchard grinding operations Complete honing processes according to job specifications Inspect finished work to help ensure dimensional and quality requirements are met Operate CNC grinding equipment when qualified and assist with precision grinding processes
Qualifications and Requirements:
Previous grinding experience is required Experience with centerless grinding Experience with ID/OD grinding Experience with honing, surface grinding, and/or Blanchard grinding CNC grinding experience is highly preferred Experience with Studer CNC grinding equipment is preferred
