Overview McKenzie River Rock Quarry is looking for a dependable and mechanically inclined 5-Axis Bridge Saw & Wire Operator to join our growing stone production operation. This position will be responsible for operating our 5-axis CNC bridge saw and wire saw to cut and process natural stone into finished and semi-finished products. The ideal candidate will have experience with stone fabrication, CNC equipment, saws, quarry operations, or similar industrial equipment. Experience with these exact machines is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who has strong mechanical ability, attention to detail, and experience operating computerized or industrial equipment. Responsibilities Operate 5-axis CNC bridge saw for precision stone cutting Operate wire saw for cutting large stone blocks and speciiality products Read measurements, drawings, cut lists, and production specifications Set up material and properly position stone for cutting Program or assist with programming saw cuts and machine opertions Monitor saw operation, blade condition, wire condition, water flow, and cutting performance Use forklift, loaders, cranes, rigging, or other equipment to safely move stone Inspect finished products for dimensions, quality, and accuracy Perform routine machine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance Troubleshoot minor mechanical and operational issues Maintain an organized and safe production area Work with quarry and production crews to meet daily production goals Follow all company safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and equipment operating procedures Qualifications We are interested in applicants with experience in one or more of the following: 5-axis bridge saws CNC machinery Stone or granite fabrication Wire saws Quarry or dimensional stone production Industrial manufacturing equipment Cutting, machining, or fabrication Heavy equipment operation Mechanical maintenance or troubleshooting

Pay:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
