Pay Rate:

$17.00/hr

Description:

Grinder Operator OpSource has partnered with a machining company located in Landrum, SC.

Pay for the position:

$17+ DOE Shifts for the position: 1st shift 7am-3:30pm Job requirements for the position may include: Follow progressive machining sequences - rough cutting graphite materials on a band saw. Set up/Program surface grinders to machine parts to order specifications. Produce precision graphite parts that strictly meet required dimensional tolerances. Perform routine maintenance on machines and keep the work area clean and safe. Complete simple reports detailing job orders handled and the quality of parts produced.

Qualifications for the position:

Working in a manufacturing plant environment focused on graphite machining innovation for aerospace, power generation, and tool-and-die industries. Machining/Grinding experience preferred but will train if necessary.
