Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a skilled Instrument Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and calibration of instruments and control systems used in our industrial operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong technical background and a commitment to safety. Responsabilities for anInstrument Fitter:
Install, maintain, and repair various instruments and control systems, including pressure, flow, temperature, and level instruments. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of instruments. Perform calibration and testing of instruments to ensure they meet required specifications and standards. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instrumentation and control systems, implementing effective solutions. Work closely with other team members, including engineers and technicians, to ensure the seamless operation of equipment. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures during the installation and maintenance of instruments. Document work activities, including maintenance logs, calibration records, and repair reports. Maintain an organized and safe work environment, ensuring that tools and equipment are properly maintained. Qualifications for anInstrument Fitter:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in instrumentation or a related field is preferred. Minimum of [2] years of experience as an instrument fitter or in a similar role. Strong understanding of instrumentation and control systems, including knowledge of industry standards and best practices. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant safety protocols.
