• Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Ready Mix Batch Operator to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient operation of concrete batching processes and finished products. Duties Operate and monitor concrete batching equipment to produce consistent, high-quality ready-mix concrete according to specified recipes and customer requirements Perform routine inspections and maintenance on batching equipment, forklifts, and other heavy machinery to ensure optimal performance Coordinate with warehouse staff to manage inventory levels of raw materials such as cement, aggregates, and admixtures Conduct welding, fabrication, or mechanical repairs on equipment as needed to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency Assist with concrete forming and finishing tasks when necessary, supporting construction crews on-site or in the yard Maintain accurate records of production data, railcar movements, safety checks, and maintenance activities in compliance with company policies Experience Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, or other manufacturing machinery within a construction or industrial environment Knowledge of concrete mixers, batching processes, and concrete finishing techniques Mechanical knowledge related to welding, machining, fabrication, and general equipment repair Warehouse experience including inventory management and logistics coordination Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and material handling Prior experience managing railcars or similar transportation assets is highly desirable Strong understanding of safety standards applicable to manufacturing plants or construction sites Join us in delivering top-tier construction solutions by ensuring our batching operations run smoothly and safely.
