Job Description

Deburr Technician Location:
Monroe or Arlington, WA Shift:
2nd Shift - Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM - 2:15 AM (overtime/weekends as needed)
Pay:
$20-25/hr, DOE Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on Machinist / Deburr Technician to support the finishing and preparation of precision metal components. This role focuses on drilling, tapping, deburring, grinding, and finishing parts to tight tolerances using a variety of hand and power tools. You'll work with high-performance materials such as aluminum, titanium, and Inconel in a fast-paced production environment that emphasizes quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Perform deburring, drilling, tapping, grinding, and finishing on precision-machined parts Set up and operate hand tools and shop equipment such as grinders, drill presses, and polishers Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications Measure and verify parts using precision tools to ensure adherence to tight tolerances Safely set up fixtures, jigs, and workholding to protect part integrity Follow work orders and document completion accurately Conduct self-inspections and maintain consistent quality across all work Communicate job progress with leads and supervisors Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Support continuous improvement by learning new tools and processes Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED 2-3 years of machining, deburring, or mechanical experience preferred Experience with hand and power tools including die grinders, scrapers, and pencil grinders Ability to operate drill presses and basic shop equipment Experience working with aluminum, titanium, and/or other metals Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances Basic shop math skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Skills Aerospace or precision manufacturing experience Familiarity with GD&T and quality inspection processes Exposure to CNC/NC machining environments Understanding of statistical process control (SPC) Experience in fast-paced production settings Work Environment Manufacturing floor with multiple departments including machining, finishing, and shipping Fast-paced, production-driven environment Individual workstation setup with team collaboration Overtime and schedule flexibility may be required based on production needs What We Offer Stable, long-term opportunity with growth potential Ongoing training and skill development Clear advancement pathways within the organization Supportive team environment focused on safety and quality Dress Code & Safety Steel-toe boots required Jeans and T-shirts or long sleeves permitted PPE provided as needed If you're detail-oriented, enjoy hands-on work, and want to build a long-term career in precision manufacturing, we encourage you to apply. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodinville, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
