Job Description
Statewide Restoration Services, a local environmental company, specializes in flood and fire damage restoration for commercial and residential properties. We are seeking experienced abatement professionals to join our team, as well as candidates eager to learn the trade. Our company is experiencing rapid growth, with multiple positions currently available and ample opportunities for career advancement. Job Duties:
- Set up proper containments for hazardous material removal according to EPA guidelines, using engineering controls and 6mm polyethylene.
- Perform commercial abatements on any NESHAP regulated facilities, while strictly adhering to NESHAP and Maricopa County regulations.
- Safely remove affected building materials including but not limited to drywall, acoustical ceiling texture (Popcorn), resilient floor tile and mastics.
- Maintain a current AHERA Contractor/Supervisor certification for asbestos removal (Paid for by Statewide)
Requirements:
- Candidate must be punctual and reliable with minimal call outs or sick days.
- Must be open and willing to learn the "Statewide Way" of doing things, regardless of prior experience.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (this will be checked prior to a scheduled interview)
- Pass a drug Screen
- Pass a criminal background check
- Lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Have reliable transportation
- Monday through Saturday availability
- Current AHERA asbestos certification (preferred but not required)
- 2 years experience in asbestos abatement or demolition (supervisors only)

Full-time Pay:
$17.00- $22.
