This is a full-time (40+hours) position. We are looking to hire an Asbestos Abatement Technician.

Qualifications:

Current Arizona asbestos worker accreditation/certification . Ability to work in respirators and full protective clothing for extended periods. Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in confined or restricted areas. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong commitment to safety and proper work practices. Ability to pass required medical evaluations, respirator fit testing, and drug screening, where applicable. Must be able to pass a DPS background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience with asbestos abatement, demolition, environmental remediation, or construction. AHERA asbestos worker training. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification. Experience with negative-air containment and critical barriers. Experience working with glove bags, floor tile, mastic, pipe insulation, transite, drywall, plaster, and other asbestos-containing materials.

Physical Requirements:

This position involves physically demanding work and may require: Working in hot, cold, dusty, or confined environments. Wearing a respirator and protective clothing for extended periods. Lifting and carrying materials and equipment. Standing, walking, kneeling, bending, and climbing for extended periods. Working at heights when properly trained and equipped.
