What You'll Do Responsible for the proper operations and maintenance of the street sweeper and water truck Ability to coordinate maintenance activities with outside contractor and CMC maintenance department Ability to operate additional mobile equipment such as skid steer, forklift, etc Waste management (container management, manifesting, waste disposal and shipment coordination) Support with routine environmental inspections and record keeping not limited to Visual Emissions Evaluations (VEE) and waste inspectionsSupport environmental sampling, sample preparation, and sample shipment management Communicate performance and maintenance related issues to facility personnel Provide day to day environmental compliance observations for designated facilities under the direction of the Area Environmental Manager Perform additional tasks as directed by the Area Environmental Manager What You'll Need 1 - 3 years related experience in mobile equipment operation Steel industry experience is preferred Basic computer skills Ability to obtain and maintain US EPA Method 9 Certification (Visible Emissions Certification), MCAQD Rule 316 basic certification, and RCRA and DOT certification Your Education High School Diploma or GED required We are CMC, a Fortune 500® company at the leading edge of our industry.
