As a Fire Chaser, you will be on the front lines of emergency response, providing essential services to restore safety and normalcy for our clients. This energetic position offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference in people's lives while working in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Your expertise in cleanup, restoration, and emergency preparedness will be key to delivering exceptional service and support during critical moments. Responsibilities Respond swiftly to fire, flood, mold, asbestos, and water damage emergencies to assess damage and initiate restoration processes Perform cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning, debris removal, and surface sanitation using hand tools and power tools Conduct water extraction, drying, and moisture mitigation to prevent further damage and mold growth Execute fire restoration procedures such as soot removal, odor control, and structural cleaning Carry out mold remediation and asbestos abatement following safety protocols and industry standards Utilize Xactimate software for accurate damage assessment and insurance documentation Apply respiratory protection equipment diligently during hazardous material handling or contaminated environments Skills Proven emergency response readiness with the ability to act quickly under pressure Extensive experience with restoration industry practices including water damage, fire cleanup, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement Skilled in operating hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Construction experience preferred for structural repairs or modifications during restoration projects Knowledge of Xactimate or similar estimating software for accurate job costing and reporting Ability to perform cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning with specialized equipment Familiarity with respiratory protection protocols and personal safety measures in hazardous environments This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in emergency response and restoration services.
