If you aren't afraid of a little dirt, physical labor, and working with industrial machinery, we will provide all the training you need to become a skilled operator in the essential environmental services industry. What You'll Do (The Day-to-Day) As a Material Processor, you are the backbone of our daily operations.
You will:
Operate Industrial Machinery:
Get hands-on, paid experience running specialized waste processing equipment and heavy machinery. Keep theEnvironment Clean:
Help safely manage, sort, and process non-hazardous waste materials. (Note:
For clarity, "RCRA" typically refers to hazardous waste regulations, but we handle safe, non-hazardous industrial materials here!)Stay Active & Moving:
This is a physical, labor-intensive role. You will be on your feet, moving materials, and keeping the facility running efficiently.Prioritize Safety:

$19 - $22 hourlyResponsibilities:
Material Processing:
Sort and process various waste streams following strict company policies and environmental procedures.Equipment Operation:
Safely operate and perform basic maintenance on industrial machinery, including shakers, conveyors, grinders, shredders, and mixers.Heavy Equipment:
Utilize forklift trucks and loaders to manage material movement and logistics.Facility Upkeep:
Maintain an organized and clean work environment to optimize production and safety.Regulatory Compliance:
Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, environmental best practices, and PPE requirements (including full-face respirators when necessary).Inspection:
Monitor equipment for wear and tear, reporting any malfunctions or hazards to leadership immediately.Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.Experience:
1+ years of experience in solid waste processing or a related industrial field (preferred).Technical Skills:
Proven experience operating heavy equipment (Forklifts, Loaders, etc.).Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 35+ lbs unassisted regularly. Ability to stand, walk, or kneel for extended periods in various climates (including extreme temperatures). Comfortable working with strong odors and wearing full-body PPE/respirators.Reliability:
Strong work ethic and the ability to commute reliably to our facility.Preferred Skills:
High situational awareness and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and safety data.
