Material Transport Technician

Job Description

We are seeking confident, enthusiastic, hands-on leaders. These Full-time, permanent positions require a driven individual who is looking to "take the next step" in their career. Day and night shifts with rotating weekends. Position offers competitive pay and excellent benefits, which includes employer paid health insurance! Pay up to $23.50/hr. Job Duties & 
Responsibilities:
Responsible for transporting materials throughout the facility. Labeling and movement of hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Responsibility to ensure compliance of all stored and collected materials. Any other tasks as needed/assigned. Knowledge, skills, and abilities required: Ability to work 40+ hours/weekly via 12 hours shifts including rotating weekends and as required when needs arise. Must be a strong communicator. Must have and provide strong leadership skills to create a
TEAM FIRST
attitude. Safety FIRST driven mindset to foster a strong Safety Culture. RCRA Hazardous Waste and DOT Hazmat experience a plus. Supplemental training will be provided. Walkie Rider and Fork Truck experience preferred. Veterans are encouraged to apply
Other Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older. Able to lift at least 35 lbs. Must be able to walk long distances daily. Ability to stand, sit, lay, reach, bend, lift, push, pull, drive, and maintain focus for sustained periods of time. Ability to safely & effectively work in an inside and outside environment. Pass a criminal background check Pass a drug screening Complete online safety training
