We have enabled our Government and Commercial clients to achieve their organizational initiatives through the application of high quality, innovative, and cost-effective professional services and solutions. Spectra Tech, LLC, is currently looking for a Supply Technician - Equipment t to work on a government project at Adelphi Laboratory Center in Adelphi, MD. This position is full-time and onsite at Adelphi Laboratory Center (ALC). Responsibilities Tracking usage and location of chemicals, gases, cylinders, and materials. Providing monthly reports to the COR and/or TM

Inputting data into the Government-owned Pharmacy software which tracks and provides reports for all pharmacy materials and chemicals purchased

Providing monthly reports to the COR and/or TM

Identifying, ordering, shipping, receiving, distributing and inventorying all compressed gas cylinders. Cylinders include but are not limited to oxygen, nitrogen, argon, helium, acetylene, Methylacetylen-Propadiene (MAPP), sulfur hexafluoride, and other products

Providing monthly reports to the COR and/or TM

Maintaining a minimum inventory of stock chemical and hardware items on a predetermined authorized list of items by the Government for distribution

Prepares orders and distributes chemicals, gases, and supplies to researchers

Tracks usage and location of chemicals and gases

Inputs data into POS system to track researcher purchases for billback purposes

Maintains online and manual supply inventory tracking systems

Collects and disposes of excess materials and maintains all pharmacy areas

Identifies, orders, ships, receives, distributes and inventories all Government-and Vendor-owned compressed gas cylinders

Compiles and reviews reports and invoices regarding Bulk and Cylinder gas programs and inputs data into appropriate spreadsheets

Replenishes stock or provides requests to gas vendors

Accepts chemical and product deliveries and determines/applies tracking system used for outgoing items

Coordinates researcher pickup of GFEBS orders and archives pickup data

Supports onsite building by escorting visitors

Maintains an up-to-date inventory of Building RK90 environmental supplies

Carries an up-to-date forklift operator's license and uses forklift as needed

Accepts and records hand receipt and property book item turn-ins and secures them in storage area for pickup

Orders supplies and chemicals for pharmacy stock as needed

Reviews researcher special order requests, orders items, and records data on appropriate spreadsheets

Fills liquid nitrogen and argon dewars and trains any new researchers on filling station SOP Required Qualifications U.S. Citizenship is required per contract to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Secret Clearance

Graduation from a four (4) year high school or possession of a General education Development (GED) high school equivalent certificate

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Successful experience working in a team environment Physical Requirements Must be able to walk in-between office spaces and around base.

Be able to sit or stand for extended periods.

Have good vision and hearing (with or without correction).

Be able to lift moderately heavy objects occasionally (around 10-15 pounds).
