We are looking for individuals who have experience with the tools, materials, and methods utilized in asbestos removal and abatement. In this role, the Asbestos Abatement Worker would perform asbestos, mold, lead, and other hazardous waste removals while adhering to company policies and procedures regarding remediation.
Position Responsibilities:
Perform asbestos abatement projects of various sizes using a variety of techniques, including glove bagging and negative pressure enclosures. Set up and take down containment and glove bags systems Set up, take down and monitor negative pressure machines Bag, load and properly dispose of asbestos debris Operate motor vehicles safely and in compliance with applicable regulations Provide customer service to client representatives and regulatory agencies Inspect job site for quality and cleanliness
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record Excellent verbal communication skills Good written communication skills Strong ability to work safely Excellent problem-solving skills Strong customer service orientation Strong team player Regular attendance and punctuality Can read, apply, and explain rules, regulations, policies, and procedures Will be required to wear a negative pressure respirator and personal protective equipment during asbestos abatement activities
