In this energetic role, you will respond swiftly to emergency situations, perform thorough cleanup and restoration tasks, and ensure all work complies with industry safety standards. Your dedication will help clients regain peace of mind while honing your skills in the restoration industry. This position offers on-call coverage, requiring flexibility to respond promptly to urgent situations at any time. Duties Respond rapidly to emergency calls involving water damage, fire, mold, or flood incidents to initiate mitigation procedures. Perform cleaning, debris removal, and surface preparation using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment. Conduct water extraction, drying, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and carpet cleaning with adherence to safety protocols including respiratory protection and PPE use. Operate company vehicles safely to transport equipment and personnel to job sites while maintaining vehicle safety standards. Apply industry best practices for fire restoration and flood recovery, ensuring effective mitigation and minimal property damage. Assist with construction-related tasks such as minor repairs or structural drying as needed during restoration projects. Document all work performed accurately in reports and communicate progress clearly with clients and team members. Experience Prior experience in the restoration industry or related construction fields is highly preferred. Familiarity with safety protocols including PPE use, respiratory protection, and hazardous material handling such as asbestos abatement. Hands-on experience with water damage restoration, mold remediation, fire restoration, or flood recovery is advantageous. Knowledge of Xactimate software for estimating damages and documenting work is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients during stressful situations. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and company vehicles safely and efficiently. Demonstrated commitment to safety protocol adherence and emergency response readiness.
