Job Description

Jewelry Studio Associate We are a jewelry design studio specializing in the custom design, restyling, restoring, and repairing of fine jewelry. We are seeking a full-time sales and customer service associate who is friendly, outgoing, dependable, and has a genuine interest in jewelry. Experience in high level customer service, relational selling, excellent attention to detail, and strong communication skills required. The ideal candidate would have experience working with fine jewelry. Our locally and independently owned studio offers a set schedule with consecutive days off (including Sunday), 5 paid holidays per year, 401K, and paid vacation. There is room for advancement and specialized training for the right candidate. We are hoping to find a long term addition to our team. Many of our clients have been with us for years, if not generations, and we pride ourselves on the relationships we have developed with them. Job Duties Will Include:
Warmly greeting clients and creating a relaxed, no-pressure experience Consulting with clients on the best way to repair, alter, service, and restore their jewelry Developing and maintaining positive, long-lasting relationships with clients Cleaning jewelry Organizing and scheduling jobs Ordering materials Assisting with data entry and appraisals Answering calls and texting with clients Ongoing light cleaning of windows, floors, showcases, dusting, etc. Maintaining a clean, safe and organized work area Watch battery replacement and watch bracelet sizing Very minor jewelry repairs Operating a point-of-sale system Requirements -
Important :
There are aspects of this job that require literally getting your hands dirty Customer service experience Must possess fine motor skills and an attention to detail Must possess good hand strength (to open watch backs) Proficient in the use of proper grammar and vocabulary Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must be punctual, responsible, and reliable
Additional Details:
Previous jewelry experience is a huge plus Experience with any type of 3D design software is a plus Casual interest in photo or video editing is a plus Casual interest in social media marketing is a plus If interested please submit your resume along with references today.
