About the Role We are looking for an Experienced Bench Jeweler with the skill and craftsmanship to handle complex repairs while supporting and mentoring the bench team. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of repairs and contribute to our growing in-house custom jewelry business. The ideal candidate is technically strong, adaptable, and willing to share their knowledge. What You'll Do Perform a full range of jewelry repairs, from routine work to complex repairs Complete ring sizing, soldering, chain and bracelet repairs, stone setting, prong work, and other advanced repair techniques Work confidently with silver, gold, platinum, and a variety of gemstones, including high-value and fancy-shaped stones Support growing in-house custom jewelry production Utilize laser welding, laser engraving, diamond-tip engraving, and casting equipment Work with CAD and Stuller-based design programs Assist with casting and related production processes, including experience with Prometheus equipment Help mentor and support less-experienced jewelers and future apprentices Manage a changing workload while maintaining quality, accuracy, and attention to detail Communicate effectively with the repair team, managers, and other departments Maintain a strong sense of urgency in a fast-paced, shop environment What We're Looking For 3+ years of professional bench jeweler experience Demonstrated mastery of both foundational and advanced jewelry repair techniques Strong experience with soldering, sizing, stone setting, chain repair, prong work, and complex repairs Experience working with multiple metal types and a variety of gemstones Laser welder experience CAD experience is highly preferred Experience with casting, laser engraving, or diamond-tip engraving is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship Adaptable and comfortable shifting priorities throughout the day Self-motivated and able to manage workloads independently while working effectively as part of a team Professional, dependable, and collaborative Strong communication skills and a willingness to teach and share knowledge Comfortable working in a high-volume environment where no two repair jobs are exactly alike A positive attitude and the ability to contribute to a fun, respectful, low-drama team culture Nice-to-Haves Skilled in fabricating bezels and other jewelry findings by hand, with strong precision and attention to detail Proficiency with invisible settings, demonstrating the technical skill required for this specialized setting technique Demonstrated ability to hand fabricate custom jewelry, bringing unique designs from concept through completion Compensation & Benefits $45,000-$95,000 annually, based on experience and expertise Final compensation will be based on bench test results Relocation assistance available for the right candidate Employer contribution toward medical insurance Company-paid life insurance Optional dental, vision, and supplemental benefits Progressive vacation benefits based on tenure Paid sick time (PTO) If you're ready to bring your skills to a team that values craftsmanship, collaboration, and growth, we invite you to apply and become part of the Luisa Graff Jewelers team!
