Job Description
Job description: Our small company, located in Woodstock, produces a unique line of artisan memory wire jewelry that we sell to specialty stores across the US. We are looking to hire a person to assist with jewelry assembly work. This is a part time position, on-call basis, as our workload changes from week to week. On average, 6-12 hours of work (1-2 days per week) are needed, but it can be busier or slower depending on the workload. The ideal candidate has availability between days Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday for at least 6 hours weekly. Starting pay is $15 per hour with the opportunity to make up to $18 per hour as progress occurs in learning the skills involved in our work. The ideal candidate likes working with their hands, is detail oriented, a fast learner, organized, and preferably lives within 30 minutes of Woodstock. Description of jewelry work (training is provided, no previous jewelry work experience required): Shaping memory wire Gluing and polishing beads - we glue glass beads into memory wire settings using E6000 glue Setting crystals Please note, we do not do bench work, so no soldering is required.
