Job Description

Position Summary The R&D Gerber AccuMark Digital Design & Development Specialist is responsible for creating, digitizing, and managing sewing patterns and production data to support product development. This role utilizes Gerber AccuMark, Adobe Illustrator, and Excel to develop accurate patterns, markers, and costing data while supporting efficient manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a working knowledge of sewing. Key Responsibilities
  • Digitize sewing patterns using Gerber AccuMark
  • Develop and maintain cut markers in Gerber AccuMark
  • Create and modify digital pattern designs
  • Utilize Adobe Illustrator for design and documentation
  • Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) in Excel
  • Support time studies and production efficiency analysis
  • Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, and Production teams
  • Troubleshoot pattern and marker issues
  • Maintain organized digital records
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications
  • Experience using Gerber AccuMark
  • Experince using Adobe Illustrator
  • Experience digitizing sewing patterns required
  • Sewing experience strongly preferred Required Skills & Competencies
  • Proficiency in Gerber AccuMark
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of BOM development
  • Understanding of time studies
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in furniture, upholstery, or sewn product manufacturing
  • Knowledge of fabric types and cutting processes
  • Experience supporting R&D environments
Pay:
From $24.00 per hour
