PART TIME BENCH JEWELER
Lita Sea Glass Jewelry specializes in creating ocean inspired sea glass jewelry and sea glass engagement rings. We love creating timeless one-of-a-kind jewelry that is passed down and enjoyed for generations. Our jewelry is created with authentic beach found sea glass in its organic ocean-made shape. We're seeking a part time Bench Jewelry to join our team for two days a week completing ring size adjustments, light repairs, and stone setting. The ideal candidate has impeccable attention to detail, does not mind repetition, and is comfortable working within deadlines. The goal is to ensure that the quality of every piece created is "wow"-inspiring and fulfill orders to meet deadlines within the production schedule. There will be occasional opportunities to consult with the owner and lead designer about design & engineering of the jewelry. This position is perfect for you if: You pride yourself on your strong attention to detail. It's the little things that truly make a difference and mean so much to our clients. You THRIVE when you can "plug-in" and listen to a podcast while working through large batches of ring size adjustments. You're highly organized and love following projects through to completion. You have a GROWTH mindset and are comfortable brainstorming to find an out of the box solution. You work best in small teams and coordinating with other teams to achieve a common goal. Divide and conquer! This position is not for you if: You are intimidated by large projects and an environment that is sometimes fast paced. You don't enjoy working as part of a team. You have a hard time staying organized or focusing when working on many jobs of a similar type. You don't take direction well when guided.

Complete ring size adjustments using a laser welder for orders each week (there is a higher volume of ring size adjustments once a month around our events) Complete light repairs and alterations. Consult with the Owner and Lead Designer to advise on design engineering occasionally. Maintain a high standard of quality control in repairs, sizings, adjustments and stone setting.
Stone Setting:
Gemstones and Sea Glass.
The Ideal Candidate:
Design Engineering Skillset:
Understand that products must not only have strong integrity, visual appeal, and construction, but also keep the clients' experience in mind ensuring that the jewelry is comfortable to wear and durable. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Team player and can-do attitude. Ability to manage time efficiently. Impeccable attention to detail. Growth mindset, when something doesn't work out the first time - you're excited to learn what went wrong and how to perfect the task until you've mastered it or come up with a new approach to sold the problem.
