Job Description

The Key Man Locksmith is looking for a dependable, motivated person who wants to learn the locksmith trade and build a long-term career with our company. No locksmith experience is required. We are willing to train the right person. This is a hands-on position. You will learn automotive locksmith work both in the shop and out in the field while working alongside experienced technicians. What You Will Learn & Do Cut and program automotive keys and key fobs Perform vehicle lockouts Learn key programming and diagnostic equipment Identify different vehicle keys, remotes, and key systems Assist customers in the shop and on mobile service calls Learn basic lock and ignition repair Maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicles Keep your work area organized and professional Properly document completed jobs and payments Who We're Looking For You do not need previous locksmith experience, but you must: Be dependable and show up to work on time Be willing to learn and take direction Be comfortable working with tools and electronics Have good problem-solving skills Be comfortable working on different types of vehicles Be respectful and professional with customers Be able to work independently once trained Have a valid driver's license and a good driving record Be looking for a long-term position and career Experience with automotive work, car audio, electrical systems, mechanics, towing, construction, or other hands-on trades is a plus, but not required. Training We understand locksmithing is a specialized trade and most applicants will not already know how to do the work. We will provide hands-on training to the right candidate. We're looking for someone who takes the opportunity seriously, wants to learn, and is interested in growing with The Key Man Locksmith. If you're mechanically inclined, good with your hands, enjoy working on cars and technology, and want to learn a skilled trade, we'd like to hear from you.
Pay:
$16.90 - $20.00 per hour
