Job Description Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. Position is Offered by No Fee Staffing Agency Spherion Gainesville, FL has a local client seeking a dedicated Locksmith to manage and maintain all door hardware, locks, and physical security.

Gainesville, FL Schedule:
Full Time, Monday- Friday (Shifts vary)
Salary:
$18/hr- $20/hr, depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Repair, replace, and install doors, hardware, and locks.
- Provide lock and hardware strategy recommendations to project managers.
- Coordinate work orders with contractors, the Lead Locksmith, and carpenters.
- Procure locks, doors, and hardware.
- Maintain accurate database for hardware, locks, keys, and doors.
- Collaborate with suppliers for technical support, warranty issues, and staff training.
- Ensure ADA and Florida Building Code compliance for hardware, locks, and doors.
- Adhere to all recognized safety practices and standards.
- Comply with all rules, procedures, and governing laws and regulations.
- Provide courteous, professional, and accessible service excellence.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

8:00 AM- 5:00

High School Experience:
1-4 yearsQualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Master Keying Certification from a recognized trade school plus 1
- 4 years of related work experience. (Vocational/technical training may substitute for required experience.)
- Registered Locksmith status is preferred.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Must possess a valid Florida Class E Operator driver's license.
