Job Description

We are seeking motivated, enthusiastic candidates for First and Second shifts(4-10s). We are hiring Early career , Mid and Senior level Lathe & Mill Machinist. Tanksley Machine offers Excellent Benefits that are low cost to the employee, Matching 401K, Paid time off, and a tool purchase program.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 2-3 years experience setting up CNC mills, Lathes, and/or 5-axis machining centers Experience machining tight tolerance parts. Experience working with a shop floor control system. Experience with Mazak and Haas is a plus. Experience running complex 5-axis parts a strong plus Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining specifications. Collaborate with team members to optimize manufacturing processes and troubleshoot machining issues. Knowledge in use of precision measuring instruments and the application of such instruments. Instruments should include but not limited to calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gages, indicators and scales Strong understanding in blue print reading/ geometric tolerancing interpretation (GD&T) Experience with tight tolerance Aerospace parts a plus Must be able to follow written and oral instructions Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events. Must be willing to work overtime occasionally Must possess basic math skills to include but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry and algebra for the purpose of calculating material fabrication.'
