Location:

Garden Grove, CA

Shift:

Day Shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00am-4:30pm + Saturdays

Pay:

$33.00 - $36.00 / hr Position Summary Seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to set up, program, and operate CNC lathes for high-precision part production. This individual will support and train junior machinists and help ensure production runs smoothly, while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Set up, program, and operate CNC lathes to produce precision components. Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to maintain tight tolerances. Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues efficiently. Collaborate with engineering to refine processes and improve production flow. Support and train junior machinists, ensuring safety, accuracy, and productivity. Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with safety protocols. Qualifications 5+ years of CNC machining experience, specializing in CNC lathes: Mori Seiki DMG Mori and Doosan Proficient in G-code programming and CNC setup. Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and engineering drawings. Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials. Team-oriented, self-motivated, and dependable. Preferred Skills Experience with CAD/CAM software. Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement. Familiarity with quality standards and inspection processes.
