Shift & Onboarding Primary Schedule:
Swing Shift (3:00 PM start time)
Paid Onboarding:
You will train on First Shift to get fully up to speed on our processes and equipment before transitioning to your regular swing shift schedule.
What You'll Be Doing Master Multi-Axis Beasts:
Set up, operate, and push advanced 5- & 6-axis CNC milling and turning centers to their limits. Bring Blueprints to
Life:
Decode complex drawings and GD&T specs to carve out flight-ready, mission-critical parts.
Innovate & Experiment:
Tame unproven setup sheets and execute complex machining for high-stakes prototype projects.
Dial It In:
Fine-tune feeds, speeds, offsets, and tooling like a pro to hit pinpoint accuracy every time.
Collaborate:
Partner with lead engineers and programmers to conquer tricky machining challenges. What You Bring to the
Table Experience:
5+ years of hands-on CNC machining (multi-axis experience required).
Precision Toolkit:
Mastery of calipers, micrometers, and advanced inspection gear.
Blueprint Fluency:
Sharp skill reading G-code, tool paths, and aerospace-grade drawings.

Solid math capabilities covering shop trigonometry and calculations.

No Degree RequiredResponsibilities CNC Setup & Operation:
Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling and turning centers, including 5-6 axis machines. Load programs, tools, offsets, and fixtures. Handle setups for both low-complexity unproven parts and complex proven parts.
Blueprint Reading & Calculations:
Read and interpret complex aerospace blueprints, drawings, and customer specifications. Use G-code, tool paths, and basic math/geometry to calculate dimensions.
Tooling & Work Holding:
Select, install, align, and adjust cutting tools and work holdings for various materials. Perform routine tooling changes.
Quality & Precision Control:
Monitor feeds/speeds and adjust machine parameters to hold strict tolerances. Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring tools to detect defects.
Collaboration & Optimization:
Work with programmers, inspectors, and engineers to resolve machining issues. Participate in continuous improvement to boost efficiency and help develop tooling/methods for complex parts.
Prototypes & Documentation:
Perform complex machining for prototype experimental activities. Retrieve job information and log production quantities in the ERP system.
Maintenance & Safety:
Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning. Keep work areas safe and free of debris while following all safety protocols. Complete other duties as assigned.
