Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Lathe Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate, set up, and program CNC lathe machines to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in machining processes, blueprint reading, and technical troubleshooting will ensure efficient production and continuous improvement. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced equipment and contribute to innovative manufacturing projects in a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate CNC lathe machines, including Fanuc-controlled systems, to produce complex parts with high precision. Set up machines by installing tooling, fixtures, and calibrating equipment according to specifications. Familier with Gcode and offsets Read and interpret detailed blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical drawings to ensure accurate manufacturing. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify part dimensions. Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC lathe machines, particularly Fanuc or similar control systems. Excellent blueprint reading skills combined with a solid understanding of GD&T standards. Proficient in using basic math for measurements and calculations essential for precision machining. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, tooling setups, and precision measuring instruments effectively. Knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols including forklift operation and proper use of power tools. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
