Full Job Description CNC Setup Machinist Location:
Orange, CA Shift:
1st
Shift Hours:
5:00 AM to 3:30
PM Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 4/10 schedule. Fridays may be required for overtime based on production needs.
Pay:
$23 to $29 per hour We are seeking an experienced CNC Setup Machinist to join an established aerospace manufacturing operation. This position is ideal for a hands on machinist who can independently set up and operate CNC equipment, make program adjustments, read aerospace blueprints, and inspect precision machined components. Responsibilities Set up and operate 3 axis and 4 axis CNC machines Edit CNC programs and make necessary adjustments Adjust tool and work offsets Read and interpret aerospace blueprints Machine parts according to specifications and tolerances Perform first article and in process inspections Use calipers, micrometers, indicators and height gauges Work with GD&T, G and M codes, speeds and feeds Perform preventive maintenance checks Follow established aerospace quality procedures Qualifications 5+ years of CNC machining experience 2+ years of CNC setup experience Strong blueprint reading skills Knowledge of GD&T Experience with precision measuring equipment Familiarity with Fanuc and Fadal controls Ability to work independently with minimal supervision High School Diploma or GED Must have own tools Experience with Doosan machines, aerospace manufacturing or forging is a plus. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced machinist looking to bring their setup and troubleshooting skills into a precision aerospace manufacturing environment.
