CNC 5 Axis Machinist Expert Staffing West Placentia, CA Job Details Full-time $29 - $49 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Industrial equipment adjustment Full Job Description We are seeking an experienced Swiss CNC Machinist to join an aerospace manufacturing team specializing in precision-machined components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience setting up, operating, and troubleshooting Swiss-style CNC machines to produce high-quality parts that meet strict aerospace specifications. This position requires strong blueprint-reading skills, knowledge of precision measuring instruments, and the ability to maintain tight tolerances while following quality and safety standards. 2nd/3rd shift openeings sign on bonus up to $7500
DOE Pay:
$29-49 Responsibilities Set up, operate, and adjust Swiss CNC machines to manufacture precision aerospace components. Read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications. Perform machine setups, tool changes, offsets, and adjustments as needed. Monitor machine operations to ensure parts meet required dimensions and quality standards. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments to maintain production quality and efficiency. Work with engineers, programmers, and quality personnel to resolve machining and production issues. Maintain accurate production and inspection records. Follow all safety procedures and aerospace quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform routine machine maintenance. Qualifications Previous experience setting up and operating Swiss CNC machines. Experience machining precision components in a manufacturing environment; aerospace experience is preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T. Knowledge of CNC tooling, cutting speeds, feeds, and machining processes. Experience using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances. Ability to troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments. Knowledge of quality standards and inspection procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with aerospace materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, or other specialty alloys. Familiarity with aerospace quality systems, including AS9100. Experience with CNC programming or editing G-code. Knowledge of first-piece inspection and in-process quality checks. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift and move materials as required. Ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle small precision components. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with appropriate PPE. Interested candidates should have hands-on Swiss CNC machining experience and a strong understanding of precision manufacturing. #IND1
