You'll be: Setting up and operating 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC mills or CNC lathes (with or without live tooling) Safely performing all tasks in compliance with workplace requirements Operating a variety of hand and power machines Working from blueprints, engineering drawings, and verbal instructions to fabricate machined components Assembling cutting tools and observing machine operations to detect worn or damaged tools Manipulating controls and entering commands to set tool offsets and work positions Making shop calculations to determine tooling feeds and speeds Inspecting parts using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, dial indicators, and calipers Maintaining 6S requirements in your work area Performing other assigned job functions This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Bring at least 5 years' experience as a machinist Are able to lift and load parts into machinery (up to 50-75 lbs.) Have strong blueprint reading skills, including Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing Understand G and M codes and/or Mazatrol programming Can perform heavy labor and are comfortable with physically demanding tasks Possess good communication skills (verbal and written) Have good working knowledge of hand measuring and inspection tools Have a High School diploma/GED or higher education (preferred) Have experience with Mazak Mill, Intregrex, or other multi-axis machining (preferred) What happens next Once you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
