Position Description:
We re looking for a skilled and motivated CNC Machinist to join our first-shift team. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional who takes pride in precision work and thrives in a quality-driven environment. Top performers are rewarded with competitive pay and opportunities for growth. The CNC Machinist will perform complex setups and operations on 5-axis mill/turn machines. This role requires strong knowledge of G & M codes, as well as the ability to run and inspect parts with minimal supervision while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This position offers a shift differential; 2 nd shift is a 20% differential and 3 rd shift is a 25% differential.
Essential Responsibilities:
Ability to setup and run machines accurately, and efficiently Able to read operation sheets and blueprints Able to maintain quality standards and accurately measure completed work Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisor, and other staff Other duties as directed by supervisor
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary CNC education preferred 3+ years of CNC machine operation Okuma control knowledge a plus G & M code understanding Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and ability to deal with complexity Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude Interested in learning with, and from, engineering and programming team to improve operations
