As a Toolmaker / Mill & Lathe Machinist, you'll work with Prototrak equipment to build precision tools, fixtures, and Made to Complete parts from raw stock to finished components. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Set up, program, and operate ProtoTRAK mills and lathes for precision machining. Build, repair, and modify tools, fixtures, jigs, and gauges used in production. Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical sketches to determine machining strategy. Perform manual machining operations including turning, milling, drilling, tapping, and boring. Measure and verify dimensions using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other precision instruments. Create and edit ProtoTRAK programs for new parts, prototypes, and tooling projects. Select proper tooling, speeds, feeds, and work‑holding methods based on materials and tolerances. Conduct first‑piece and in‑process inspections to ensure accuracy and repeatability. Maintain machines, tooling, and work areas to ensure safe, clean, and efficient operation. Collaborate with engineering and operations to improve manufacturability and reduce cycle times. OSHA QUALIFICATIONS

Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds. Willingness to work overtime. Able to follow all established safety procedures and protocols. Working knowledge of GD&T, blueprints, and operation sheets
