We are seeking motivated individuals to operate and maintain Swiss-style lathes, ensuring the highest quality standards for complex machining projects. This role offers multiple openings for skilled operators eager to contribute to a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Whether you're experienced in CNC programming or passionate about honing your mechanical skills, this is your chance to thrive in a company that values craftsmanship and continuous improvement. All positions are paid, including internships, emphasizing our commitment to developing talent at every level. Responsibilities Set up and operate Swiss CNC lathe machines, ensuring precise machining of metal and plastic components according to detailed blueprints and technical specifications Interpret technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and blueprints to accurately produce parts Program CNC lathes using CAM software and verify tool paths for optimal performance Conduct routine inspections with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to ensure parts meet strict tolerances Adjust machine parameters and tooling based on measurement feedback to maintain quality standards Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and improve efficiency Maintain detailed documentation of production activities, inspection results, and machine logs

1 (2nd Shift), 1 (3rd Shift) Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC lathe machines, particularly Swiss-style lathes (FANUC controls preferred) Strong knowledge of CNC programming, including CAM software and G-code editing Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications accurately Mechanical aptitude with understanding of tooling setup, calibration tools like micrometers and bore gauges, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations Familiarity with electrical discharge machining (EDM), plastics injection molding processes, welding techniques, and assembly is a plus Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, tooling fixtures, forklifts, and other manufacturing equipment safely Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices to promote continuous improvement in production processes Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us today if you're ready to operate state-of-the-art machinery while advancing your skills in a vibrant manufacturing setting!
