  • $23 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications English High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Our client, a globally recognized manufacturer of aerospace, automotive and surgical tools are currently looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join their team at their site in St.
Petersburg. Due to their growth, our client is actively employing candidates who are looking for a successful and long career. First shifts are available. The CNC Machinist plays a critical role in driving sales strategy forward. You will be tasked with setting up and operating CNC Wire EDM machines, performing hand finishing and parts cleaning. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a strong computer and math skill. Key Responsibilities for the CNC Machinist Set up and operate CNC Wire EDM machines (Training is provided) Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Monitor production Troubleshoot machining issues and minimize downtime Conduct basic inspections as required Qualifications for the CNC Machinist Working to tolerances of .0002" Able to work independently and complete jobs from start to finish High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or formal apprenticeship preferred. 4
  • 5 years of progressive CNC machining experience, including programming responsibility.
Strong blueprint reading skills and tight-tolerance requirements. Proficiency using precision measuring and inspection equipment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Physical and Working Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift to 35 pounds as required. Ability to work safely around industrial machinery and tooling. Willingness to work overtime or flexible schedules in support of customer and program requirements.
