The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience machining and repairing equipment such as steam turbines, gas turbines, steam valves, pumps, and other large rotating or mechanical equipment .

Key Experience:

5+ years of field or industrial machining experience preferred Experience machining large industrial equipment Experience with boring bars, flange-facing equipment, milling equipment, stud removal, mag base drills, and/or lamina drills Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair background Military candidates with Outside Machinist experience are encouraged to apply Nuclear industry experience is highly preferred

Schedule:

Target start: Mid-January Spring outage season: February through June Pre-outage shop schedule: approximately 40-50 hours per week Outage season: approximately 60-84 hours per week depending on project and location

Pay & Travel:

Hotels, rental cars, and flights from Savannah to field locations are provided Meal per diem is provided for field assignments
