In this role, you'll independently set up and operate Okuma and Mazak CNC turning centers to produce precision valve components that meet demanding quality standards. We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented machinists who take pride in producing high-quality work in a safe, team-focused environment. Responsibilities Set up and operate Okuma and Mazak CNC turning centers. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions. Select tooling, establish work offsets, and make tool wear adjustments. Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring equipment. Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues to maintain quality and productivity. Complete machine changeovers, routine maintenance, and production documentation. Follow all safety, quality, and ISO procedures while maintaining a clean, organized work area. Collaborate with engineering, quality, maintenance, and production teams to meet manufacturing goals. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Minimum 3 years of CNC turning experience. Ability to independently set up and operate CNC lathes. Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing drawings. Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial bore gages, indicators, and height gages. Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling, feeds and speeds, and workholding. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Okuma OSP and/or Mazak Mazatrol controls. Experience machining stainless steel, brass, carbon steel, and high-performance alloys. Experience in an
