CNC Machinist at 21st Century Scientific, Inc. in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, United States Job Description About Us We are a dedicated team creating innovative products that improve the lives of people with disabilities. Our mission is to build life-changing solutions, and right now, we're looking for a skilled CNC Machinist with programming experience to join our production team. You'll help produce custom, high-quality components for power wheelchairs in a clean, climate-controlled facility where quality, purpose, and personal growth are valued. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and program a
HAAS VF3 CNC
mill and SL30 lathe to produce precision components Use CAM software to generate toolpaths and optimize machining processes Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to ensure accurate production Work with materials such as aluminum, steel, and plastics Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring tools Maintain equipment and follow safety and efficiency best practices What We're Looking For Proven experience as a CNC machinist with strong setup and programming skills Familiarity with G-code and CNC controls (Haas experience preferred) CAD/CAM experience strongly preferred Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Minimum age: 18 Positive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and team-oriented work ethic Schedule & Pay Part-time schedules available Competitive pay based on experience Clean, heated, and air-conditioned facility Learn More About Our Work 👉 Watch this short video Visit www.wheelchairs.com to learn more about the products we manufacturer.
