Job Description
Job Summary :
The CNC Machinist I will set up and operate all CNC equipment and machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments, applying knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures. The machinist utilizes all necessary tooling, cuts and shapes items with CNC machine tools. The CNC Machinist I also supports metalworking projects from planning and fabrication through assembly, inspection, and testing using knowledge of machine functions, metal properties, and mathematics. Duties & Responsibilities- Knowledge of basic machining practices Understanding of Fadal, Hyundai and Siemens controls and machines a plus.

Experience- 2 years of experience in a CNC position. Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent, Technical Certificate and/or on-the-job training. Responsibility
- Carry out assigned duties while observing all safety regulations. Complexity of duties
- Attention to detail, use of good judgment. Supervision received
- Direct oversight from the CNC Supervisor. Mental and physical demands
- Standing, lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying, speaking, listening, climbing, motor coordination skills, coordination of eyes, hands, and feet. Extreme noise, heat, cold, dusty environment. Mostly indoors. Confidential data
