In this role, you will operate, set up, and program CNC lathes to produce precision metal components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in machining tools, blueprint interpretation, and CNC programming will drive efficiency and excellence in our production processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced equipment and contribute to high-quality manufacturing projects in a fast-paced environment.

•We are specifically looking for people who can do all of the above on Mazak Lathes. We have many Mazak lathes from large to small.

•Duties Set up and operate CNC lathe machines, ensuring proper calibration and alignment for each job. Program CNC lathes using Mazak Mazatrol (G-code, M-code, and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software to produce complex parts with precision is a plus but not required) Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings. Utilize precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and dial indicators for quality control inspections. Perform machine maintenance, tooling changes, and adjustments to optimize machining performance. Conduct manual machining tasks when necessary using hand tools, grinders, and other manual equipment. (Not Required but a plus) Ensure all parts meet quality standards through detailed inspection and measurement techniques. Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC lathe machines with proficiency in Mazak Mazatrol (CNC G-code programming is a plus) Strong knowledge of machining tools, tooling setup, and machine calibration processes. Ability to read mechanical blueprints accurately and interpret technical specifications. Familiarity with CAM software such as MasterCam. Skilled in using precision measurement instruments including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and power tools for quality inspection. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting during machining processes. Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of mechanical blueprint interpretation and manufacturing principles. Ability to perform machine setup efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced production environment.
