We manufacture, remanufacture, and deliver top-tier new and rebuilt transmission components, ensuring our customers experience minimal downtime. Our mission is to revolutionize the aftermarket for transmission components by offering best-in-class quality, unparalleled delivery speed, and a comprehensive product range for every heavy-duty transmission need. Through this commitment to excellence, we redefine the customer experience, enabling us to push the margins of what is possible. Purpose of the Position § Perform milling operations required for remanufacturing parts and producing new parts. § Help redefine the TransMachine MTT product portfolio as we transition to manufacturing our own intellectual property.
Duties:
§ Program, Set-up, and operate CNC milling machinery with 3 and 4 axis capability. § Continually improve all aspects of our milling processes in order to achieve higher quality outcomes and reduce machining and set-up time. § Design and if possible, make work holding fixtures as needed. § Work as a team with other milling department employees to maximize throughput in the department. § Work cooperatively with employees in other departments to maximize company efficiency and quality. § Perform other shop duties as assigned.
Requirements:
§ At least 2 years experience with programming, set-up, and operation of Haas vertical mills or similar equipment of other manufactures using G-Code programming. § Ability to program § Ability to design proper work-holding fixtures. § Machinist Aptitude. § Willingness to learn new skills and help in other areas when needed. § Must be able to work cooperatively with others even in challenging situations. § Must be open to suggestions from more experienced programmers and operators. § Must be able to lift 60 lbs. into and out of the milling machine multiple times a day on a period basis. § Must be able to lift 35 lbs. a day repeatedly on a daily basis.
Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
