Picture a typical night on our 3rd shift (10pm-6am): you roll into a spotless, climate-controlled facility, review your setup sheet and status board, load the program, dial in offsets, and turn, mill, drill, or tap aerospace components to exacting tolerances. You'll join a team on an upward trajectory with a $4,000 sign-on bonus, competitive pay of $24.00

Where your work flies Rexnord Aerospace builds high-performance spherical and cylindrical bearings, mechanical seals, gears, and electrical components used in engine systems, flight controls, landing gear, and airframe structures. Our customers include major engine and airframe OEMs, tier suppliers, and aircraft operators worldwide. What your night looks like Interpret process sheets, blueprints, setup cards/sheets, machine status boards, and both verbal and written instructions. Machine, install, or re-cut chuck jaws as needed; load and secure tooling in turrets. Perform full CNC setups and operate multiple CNC controls to produce finished parts within tight tolerances. Upload/download programs; make minor program edits and adjust offsets to account for material, tooling, or machine conditions. Troubleshoot issues, verify and calibrate preset gauges, and use hand tools/manual machines as required. Inspect your own work to print, complete documentation, and—when asked—inspect work from other machinists. Rotate among work centers, operate more than one machine when needed, and support continuous improvement/RBS. Enter work data into the ERP system and collaborate with your supervisor, programmer, and support teams to resolve problems. Load/unload component piece parts up to 25 lbs. What it takes to succeed Experience on two of the following: CNC lathe, CNC mill, or resistance spot welder, with solid setup capability. High school diploma or equivalent, plus a minimum of 2 years related CNC machining experience and knowledge of CNC methods. Ability to read/interpret English blueprints and work instructions and perform basic math. External candidates must pass a Machinist test measuring mechanical aptitude. Physical ability to insert tooling, set up work centers, inspect parts, and adjust machines; lift up to 50 lbs and stand for an entire shift.

Schedule and premium pay Openings on 3rd shift (10pm-6am). There is a possibility of training on 1st shift (6am-2pm). Earn a $2/hr shift differential on 2nd & 3rd shift, starting day one.
