Temp-to-Hire Pay:
Starting at $ 27 to 34/hour (Negotiable Based on Experience) + Shift Differential What You'll Own You'll be responsible for setting up and operating advanced CNC machining centers while producing high-precision aerospace components to exacting quality standards. Perform complete setups and operate large Mazak 5-axis mill/turn machining centers Machine aerospace components ranging from 35"-65" in diameter Machine titanium, Inconel, stainless steel, and other aerospace-grade materials Read and interpret blueprints, routers, manufacturing documentation, and work instructions Establish machine offsets, work coordinates, and home positions using dial indicators and probing systems Verify dimensional accuracy using precision measuring equipment Safely prove out new and existing CNC programs using single block, distance-to-go, and other verification methods Utilize Haimer heat shrink tooling systems and Speroni tool measurement equipment Perform machine adjustments and troubleshoot machining issues to maintain production efficiency Partner with Engineering and Programming teams to improve machining processes and support new product introductions Follow aerospace quality standards, manufacturing procedures, and safety requirements Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment What Success Looks Like Complex setups are completed accurately and efficiently Aerospace components consistently meet tight tolerance requirements Machine downtime is minimized through effective troubleshooting New programs are safely proven out and validated Production schedules and quality standards are consistently achieved Continuous improvement opportunities are identified and implemented Safety and quality procedures are followed without exception What You Bring 3-6+ years of CNC machining experience Experience performing complex CNC machine setups Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, routers, and manufacturing documentation Experience machining titanium, Inconel, stainless steel, or similar difficult materials Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Experience using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment Strong understanding of machining principles and tight tolerance manufacturing U.S. Citizenship required Ability to lift at least 25 pounds Where You May Stand Out Experience with Mazak controls and machinery 5-axis mill/turn machining experience Aerospace manufacturing experience Knowledge of G & M codes Experience proving out new CNC programs Familiarity with Haimer heat shrink tooling systems Experience using Speroni tool measurement equipment Technical certificate in Machining Technology or related trade Continuous Improvement or Lean Manufacturing experience Why Work With PDS Tech?
